For affordable, reliable and flexible pay as you use Internet, our Apartment Wifi Hotspot offering is in direct response to the increased reliance on home connectivity, for work, school or entertainment.
Our solution comes at no additional cost or administrative effort to the Property Manager.
The solution is deployed primarily on wireless technology which means minimal cable runs and no trenching within the premises.
For the tenant our offering is simple, flexible and requires no contract. Simply connect to our wifi network and sign in using a pre-purchased voucher or purchase online.
How It Works
The first step is to determine whether fibre has been rolled out in your area. If not, we can look at a wireless solution as an alternative until fibre is available.
One of our representatives surveys the potential site to determine how the infrastructure will be rolled out within the premises. Where possible, existing conduits are used in order to minimise disruption.
On completion of the survey, plans are drawn up by our design team and submitted to the governing body for review and sign-off.
Once the plan has been approved, the installation is scheduled with timelines set based on the size and complexity of the deployment
On completion of the rollout, final sign off is required from the governing body
Occupants can now request a connection to their individual units and Konekt | Work | Learn | Play
For even faster speeds we can “fibre up” your complex. We work with the governing body to plan and deploy the infrastructure required to get the complex fibre ready.
Fibre is provisioned for the complex by setting up a fibre distribution box within the premises at no cost to the governing body, unit owner or tenant.
The fibre is made accessible to all units but only provisioned when the occupant places an order. There is no obligation for occupants to subscribe
Security and surveillance equipment often runs on the infrastructure deployed to distribute internet access for the complex.
